Christian Sexton’s extensive background in real estate development and investment ideally prepared him start KEAN Ventures in 2019. In his capacity as founder and President, Christian oversees the strategic vision of KEAN and associated affiliated companies.

With each development the end goal is paramount – balancing tangible metrics of invested capital with the intangible intricacies of creating an environment where people desire to live, work, play and interact. When combined successfully, exceptional real estate transpires.

Christian’s depth of experience spans nearly twenty years. He has developed in excess of $500M and over 3,000 apartments consisting of luxury senior housing, affordable and market rate multi-family apartments, and urban mixed-use developments. He began his career with a nationally recognized accounting firm specializing in real estate. In this role he provided forecasting and financial structuring in investment partnerships. His unique experience offers strategic vantage points to the KEAN team. Equally gifted in understanding the art and science of large and small transactions, Christian’s vision leads to exception investment opportunities.

Christian is a graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance.

Stephen Dronen

President, KEAN Development

Stephen Dronen brings a wealth of urban development experience to KEAN Development. As President, Stephen leads project selection and implementation to ensure high quality developments in irreplaceable locations.

Stephen’s career has spanned both public and private sectors.  From carrying out private developments with market capitalizations in excess of $355 million, to managing downtown development for a major American city, Stephen brings a unique perspective to what makes great developments thrive.  Always focused on the relationship between new developments and their context, Stephen finds value in projects that complement their surroundings.

Stephen is a LEED® Accredited Professional and holds a Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Real Estate & Urban Analysis from The Ohio State University, and an MBA from Xavier University.
